Loverboy will headline a concert event to help celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy on March 27. The concert is the capstone event on a two-day celebration that marks two years of the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy’s mission in Sioux Falls.

“The academy has grown tremendously over the past two years and I cannot wait to see what the future brings. Thank you to everyone who has come together to support this incredible program, facility and the children,” said founder of the academy Chuck Brennan.

The anniversary celebrations will kick-off on March 26th with a free student concert. Four student bands will battle head-to-head in a battle of the bands competition before a packed concert hall filled with friends, family and our celebrity judges, including legendary Metal Cowboy Ron Keel and the evening’s emcee and local music celebrity, Crash. Doors for this free event open at 6:30 p.m.

The winning student band will perform as the opening act for legendary rock band Loverboy on Friday, March 27. The Loverboy concert will be a fundraiser for the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy, with all proceeds from the night’s events benefiting the Academy’s mission.

Tickets are available for Friday night online. Floor tickets are $200 each and balcony tickets are $100. There will be a limited number of VIP packages, which include reserved seating, meet & greets, and more for $500. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m.; 6:30 p.m. for VIP ticket holders.

You have to start somewhere and this is the place where it starts. I wish we had this when I was a kid.

It's all about giving back. Sooner or later success means giving back. It's not an option, it's an obligation.
